LuckyDay Plumbing — CIPP Pipe Lining Warranty
Engineered for a 50-year design life. Backed by a 10-year LuckyDay workmanship
warranty.
Our CIPP liners are manufactured and third-party tested to ASTM F1216 standards, giving
them an engineered service life of 50+ years. On top of that, LuckyDay backs every
installation with a 10-year workmanship warranty — if the failure is due to how we
installed it, we make it right. No fine print games, no maintenance-plan strings attached.
What “50-year” actually means
You’ll see a lot of pipe lining companies advertise a flat “50-year warranty.” Here’s the honest breakdown, because we think you deserve to know exactly what you’re paying for:
- 50-year design life — This comes from the liner manufacturer’s third-party lab testing (ASTM F1216, ASTM D2990 creep testing). It’s an engineering projection of how long a properly installed liner should structurally perform.
- 10-year LuckyDay workmanship warranty — This is what we personally stand behind. If your liner fails due to installation defects — incomplete cure, poor adhesion, wrinkling — within 10 years, we fix it at no cost to you.
- Manufacturer’s material warranty — The resin/liner material itself is also covered separately by the manufacturer against defects.
Why we don’t just say “50-year warranty”
Some competitors advertise a flat 50-year warranty. Technically, that number is a design-life estimate from lab testing — not something any single contractor can personally guarantee for five decades, since it depends on soil conditions, groundwater, and how the plumbing system is used after installation. We’d rather give you a number we can actually stand behind than a bigger number that doesn’t mean what it sounds like.
What’s covered under our 10-year workmanship warranty
- Liner installation defects (incomplete cure, delamination, improper fit)
- Reconnection points and lateral tie-ins
- Camera-verified pre- and post-install documentation, so there’s a clear record if anything needs to be addressed
What’s not covered
- Pre-existing pipe damage not disclosed at time of inspection
- Damage from misuse, chemical damage, or unrelated plumbing failures
- Acts of nature (ground shifting, major storm/flood damage)
